Remember that the positive method is based on reinforcing good behaviour. It is based on respect, kindness, analysis and understanding of canine behaviour.<\/p>\n

The aim is to work on the dog’s motivation and cooperation.<\/p>\n

First, get to a quiet place without distractions.<\/p>\n

We can start the exercise.<\/p>\n

Say the puppy’s name + “stay”<\/strong>, take 2 steps back<\/strong> and return to the puppy quietly then reward.<\/p>\n

You must have another word that will end the “go” or “hop” order…<\/p>\n

Repeat the exercise several times.<\/p>\n

When you give the reward, add physical contact, caresses, words…<\/p>\n
